Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah (TPID) kota Balikpapan menggelar Pasar Murah mulai 24 hingga 28 Februari 2025 di Kelurahan Gunung Bahagia, Kecamatan Balikpapan Selatan, Senin (24/2/2025).
Dalam menekan inflasi guna menyambut datangnya bulan Ramadan 1446 Hijriah, kegiatan tersebut juga bekerjasama dengan Bank Indonesia, Bankaltimtara, Perumda serta Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Adapun kegiatan yang menawarkan sembilan bahan pokok (sembako) serta bahan pokok penting (bapokting) itu, dibuka langsung oleh Wakil Wali Kota, Bagus Susetyo.
Di sela-sela kegiatan, Bagus mengaspresiasi hadirnya pasar murah yang diyakini dapat membantu kebutuhan masyarakat.
Menurutnya, menjelang bulan puasa harga-harga sembako biasanya berubah melambung tinggi, oleh sebab itu ia pun mengaku menyambut baik hadirnya pasar murah itu.
"Jadi kami ingin masyarakat saat mendekati Ramadan itu tidak mengalami kesulitan, apalagi ada terobosan elpiji 5 kg di pasar murah ini yang bisa menjadi alternatif keperluan rumah tangga, supaya warga tidak hanya mengacu ke elpiji 3 kg saja," ujarnya.
Ia berharap harga-harga itu tidak berubah, agar kesulitan masyarakat tidak terjadi pada bulan puasa nanti hingga saat Lebaran tiba.
Bagus menambahkan, bahwa ke depannya, OPD terkait seperti Dinas Perdagangan (Disdag) dan Dinas Pangan, Pertanian dan Perikanan (DP3) nantinya akan melakukan tinjuan ke pasar beberapa waktu, agar semuanya dapat terkendali.
"Sehingga tidak ada ada pedagang nakal dan penimbun yang nakal," tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Perdagangan (Kadisdag) Kota Balikpapan, Haemusri Umar menyebut bahwa pembukaan Pasar Murah yang diinisiasi oleh Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah (TPID) bertujuan untuk membangun komunikasi diinternal warga serta membantu meningkatkan daya beli masyarakat, sebelum Ramadan tiba.
"Sehingga awal kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di pekan terakhir selama lima hari, mulai 24-28 Februari sebelum Ramadan," ujarnya.
Menariknya, kata dia, khusus kebutuhan Bahan Pokok dan Penting (Bapokting) seperti gas elpiji telah disiapkan sebanyak 560 tabung di Pasar Murah itu. Dengan menawarkan Harga Eceran Tertinggi (HET).
Keistimewaannya, konsumen dapat menukarkan tabung gas elpiji 3 Kg dengan tabung gas elpiji 5 kg (tabung merah muda). Nah, bagi penukar akan mendapat kesempatan memenangkan hadiah undian sepeda motor.
"Kami harapkan kepada masyarakat jika ingin menukar gas elpijinya dipersilahkan. Bahkan ada hadiah sepeda motor yang diundi nanti oleh Pertamina Patra Niaga," tutupnya. (man)
