Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN – Suasana car free day (CFD) di kawasan Plaza Bunsay, Kelurahan Baru Ilir, Minggu (14/9/2025) berlangsung semarak. Acara yang digagas oleh Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (LPM) Kelurahan Baru Ilir ini dibuka langsung oleh Ketua LPM, Taufik Qul Rahman, dan dihadiri ratusan warga dari berbagai kalangan.
Car free day kali ini bukan sekadar ruang rekreasi warga
untuk berolahraga, tetapi juga dirangkai dengan kegiatan senam bersama dan
layanan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis oleh Puskesmas Kelurahan Baru Ilir.
Antusiasme masyarakat terlihat tinggi meski sempat diguyur hujan. Warga tetap
bersemangat mengikuti senam, sementara sebagian lainnya memanfaatkan layanan
cek kesehatan yang disediakan.
Dalam sambutannya, Ketua LPM Kelurahan Baru Ilir, Taufik Qul
Rahman, menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh pihak yang terlibat.
“Saya sangat
berterima kasih kepada seluruh panitia, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas, Dishub karena tanpa bantuan mereka acara ini
tidak akan berjalan sukses. Untuk peserta yang hadir, tetap semangat meski
sempat diguyur hujan. Semoga kegiatan ini membawa manfaat dan kebersamaan bagi
kita semua,” ujar Taufik.
Salah seorang pengunjung juga mengungkapkan rasa syukurnya
atas adanya layanan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis. Menurutnya, fasilitas
tersebut sangat bermanfaat, terutama bagi warga yang jarang melakukan
pengecekan kesehatan secara rutin.
Tak hanya itu, acara CFD di Plaza Bunsay tahun ini semakin
spesial karena akan berlangsung selama delapan hari ke depan. Ketua LPM, yang
akrab disapa Sang Putra Kilat, menuturkan bahwa rangkaian kegiatan telah
dipersiapkan untuk menghibur sekaligus memberdayakan warga.
“Akan ada berbagai lomba seperti domino, karaoke, hingga
talkshow dengan tema Kota Tua Balikpapan Barat. Kami juga menghadirkan stand
kuliner dari UMKM lokal, jadi warga bisa sekaligus berwisata kuliner sambil
menikmati suasana car free day,” jelasnya.
Dengan konsep yang menyatukan olahraga, kesehatan, hiburan,
serta pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, car free day kali ini benar-benar
menjadi ruang interaksi warga. Kehadiran UMKM lokal menambah daya tarik
sekaligus mendukung perekonomian masyarakat.
Masyarakat pun berharap kegiatan seperti ini bisa menjadi
agenda rutin, tidak hanya mempererat silaturahmi antarwarga, tetapi juga
menumbuhkan kesadaran hidup sehat dan cinta lingkungan di Kota Balikpapan. (rud)
