Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Menjelang Hari Raya Idulfitri 1446 Hijriah, Pemerintah Kota Balikpapan kembali mengimbau kepada para pedagang dan distributor untuk memastikan kelancaran distribusi bahan pokok, agar tidak terjadi penahanan stok yang dapat memicu kelangkaan dan lonjakan harga.
“Kami telah menyebarkan imbauan ini melalui tokoh-tokoh swalayan dan para distributor dalam bentuk surat edaran. Ini bukan hanya ditujukan kepada pedagang dan distributor, tetapi juga kepada masyarakat agar melakukan pembelian secara bijak,” ujar Kepala Bidang Perdagangan Dalam Negeri Disdag Kota Balikpapan, Muhammad Anwar.
Anwar melanjutkan, pun begitu masyarakat diminta untuk tidak melakukan aksi borong yang berlebihan. Jika biasanya satu keluarga hanya membutuhkan 10 kilogram dalam sebulan, tetapi membeli hingga 100 kilogram karena panik, hal ini dapat menimbulkan gejolak di pasar.
"Oleh karena itu, kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk menjadi konsumen yang bijak, belanjalah sesuai kebutuhan agar ketersediaan bahan pokok tetap stabil dan harga tetap terkendali," tambahnya.
Pemerintah berharap dengan adanya kerja sama antara pedagang, distributor, dan konsumen, kebutuhan bahan pokok menjelang Lebaran dapat terpenuhi tanpa hambatan. (man)
