Poroskaltim.com, SAMARINDA - Direktorat Reserse Narkoba (Ditresnarkoba) Polda Kalimantan Timur Kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam memberantas peredaran narkotika di wilayah Kaltim. Dalam sebuah operasi yang digelar pada Rabu malam (4/6/2025), tim Opsnal Subdit II berhasil mengamankan dua orang pria yang diduga terlibat dalam jaringan peredaran narkotika jenis sabu.
Dua tersangka tersebut masing-masing berinisial Heri (48), warga Kelurahan Beloro, Kecamatan Sebulu dan Erdian alias Utul (40), warga Kecamatan Sebulu, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Keduanya diamankan di lokasi penangkapan di Jalan Ahmad Yani, Gang Baru, RT 017, Kelurahan Temindung Permai, Kecamatan Sungai Pinang, Kota Samarinda.
Penangkapan ini dipimpin langsung oleh Kasubdit II AKBP Rezkhyy Satya Dewanto, Kompol Faisal Risa dan IPDA Andi Amli setelah menerima informasi dari masyarakat terkait aktivitas peredaran narkotika di Kawasan tersebut.
Dalam operasi tersebut, polisi berhasil menyita 13 bungkus plastic bening berisi sabu dengan total berat bruto 1.922,7 gram atau 1,9 Kilogram. Barang bukti tersebut ditemukan dalam sebuah paperbag berwarna cream yang dibawa oleh para tersangka. Selain itu, turut diamankan beberapa barang lain, termasuk dua unit handphone dan satu unit sepeda motor yang diduga digunakan dalam aktivitas peredaran narkotika.
Kapolda Kalimantan Timur Irjen Pol Endar Priantoro melalui Dirresnarkoba Polda Kaltim menyampaikan bahwa pengungkapan ini merupakan hasil Kerja keras tim yang sigap dalam merespon Laporan masyarakat.
"Kami tidak akan memberikan ruang bagi peredaran narkoba di Kalimantan Timur. Kasus ini masih dalam proses pengembangan untuk mengungkap kemungkinan adanya jaringan yang lebih luas," tegasnya, Jumat (13/6/2025).
Para tersangka kini diamankan di Polda Kaltim dan akan menjalani proses penyidikan lebih lanjut. Barang bukti telah disita dan saat ini tengah dilakukan pendalaman terhadap sumber serta jalur distribusi barang haram tersebut.
Polda Kaltim mengimbau masyarakat untuk terus aktif memberikan informasi terkait peredaran narkotika.
