poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I TPI Balikpapan menggelar Operasi Wira Waspada pada 15-16 Juli 2025 di Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara (PPU). Operasi ini menyasar Warga Negara Asing (WNA) dan Tenaga Kerja Asing (TKA) di kawasan industri Buluminung serta proyek Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) IKN Nusantara.
Operasi dipimpin langsung Kepala Kantor Imigrasi Balikpapan, Buono Adi Sucipto, bersama Kasi Inteldakim, Doni Purwoko Hadi Sandra Dewa, dengan mengerahkan tim pengawasan keimigrasian.
Di lokasi pertama, tim melakukan penyisiran di PT HBP Project Karamba Field, perusahaan kontraktor sektor migas. Sejumlah TKA asal Tiongkok diperiksa terkait dokumen keimigrasian serta perizinan penggunaan tenaga kerja asing.
Lokasi kedua, tim mendatangi PT Zhejiang Tenaga Pembangunan Indonesia yang merupakan kontraktor pembangunan PLTS di kawasan Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN). Tim memeriksa dokumen keimigrasian TKA yang merupakan tenaga ahli asal Tiongkok pada proyek tersebut.
Kepala Kantor Imigrasi Balikpapan, Buono Adi Sucipto, menjelaskan bahwa Operasi Wira Waspada dilaksanakan serentak secara nasional selama dua hari, termasuk di wilayah PPU, dengan pengendalian langsung dari Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi.
“Operasi ini merupakan bentuk penegakan hukum keimigrasian yang dijalankan secara humanis dan terukur. Apabila ditemukan pelanggaran seperti dokumen tidak lengkap, kami akan bertindak tegas,” kata Buono.
Buono juga menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan masyarakat untuk mendukung kelancaran operasi pengawasan keimigrasian.
Menurutnya, tujuan dari operasi ini adalah memberikan kepastian hukum bagi WNA dan TKA yang telah memenuhi aturan dan memastikan aktivitas mereka di Indonesia berjalan sesuai ketentuan. (rud)
