Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Kepala Kepolisian Daerah Kalimantan Timur, Irjen Pol. Drs. Endar Priantoro memimpin langsung konferensi pers terkait hasil pelaksanaan Operasi Pekat Mahakam II Tahun 2025 di Mapolda Kaltim, Jumat (23/5/2025).
Dalam konferensi tersebut, Kapolda menyampaikan bahwa selama periode 1 hingga 21 Mei 2025, jajaran Polda Kaltim berhasil mengungkap 91 kasus dan mengamankan 134 tersangka, termasuk 19 Target Operasi (TO) dan 115 Non-TO.
“Operasi ini kami laksanakan sebagai bentuk penegakan hukum terhadap segala bentuk penyakit masyarakat, khususnya premanisme dan tindak kriminal lainnya yang meresahkan,” ujar Irjen Pol Endar Priantoro di hadapan awak media.
Kapolda menjelaskan bahwa operasi melibatkan total 330 personel, terdiri dari 130 personel Polda dan 200 personel dari jajaran Polres. Kegiatan dilakukan secara terpadu melalui empat satuan tugas utama, yaitu Satgas Preemtif, Preventif, Gakkum, dan Banops, yang secara keseluruhan telah melaksanakan 986 kegiatan sepanjang operasi berlangsung.
Dalam keterangannya, Kapolda Kaltim menyoroti bahwa Satgas Gakkum menjadi garda terdepan dalam upaya penindakan dengan catatan 87 kegiatan, yang menghasilkan penangkapan terhadap ratusan pelaku tindak kriminal. Jenis kasus paling dominan adalah pencurian, sebanyak 33 kasus, yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah hukum Polda Kaltim.
“Polresta Samarinda mencatat jumlah kegiatan terbanyak dalam operasi ini dengan 31 giat penindakan, diikuti Polresta Balikpapan dan Polres lainnya. Ini mencerminkan keseriusan dan kesiapsiagaan seluruh jajaran dalam menjaga situasi kamtibmas yang aman dan tertib,” tambah Kapolda.
Irjen Pol Endar Priantoro juga menyampaikan apresiasi terhadap seluruh personel yang telah terlibat aktif dan menunjukkan kinerja optimal. Ia menegaskan bahwa langkah-langkah represif ini akan terus dilakukan secara konsisten demi menciptakan lingkungan masyarakat Kalimantan Timur yang kondusif dan bebas dari praktik premanisme. (*/man)
