Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Sebuah rumah tinggal dua lantai di Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Gang Vila, RT 25, Kelurahan Damai Bahagia, Kecamatan Balikpapan Selatan, dilanda kebakaran pada Rabu pagi (31/12/2025).
Peristiwa tersebut terjadi sekitar pukul 06.10 Wita. Informasi awal kebakaran diterima petugas Pengamanan dan Penyelamatan Ditsamapta Polda Kaltim pada waktu yang sama, kemudian langsung diteruskan ke unsur terkait untuk penanganan cepat di lokasi kejadian.
Sejumlah unit pemadam dan tim penyelamat dikerahkan, terdiri dari Unit TRC PB, sektor selatan, sektor kota, sektor tengah, serta pengamanan dari Polda Kaltim. Berkat respons cepat petugas, api berhasil dipadamkan sekitar pukul 06.30 Wita, sehingga tidak merembet ke bangunan di sekitarnya.
Dalam kejadian tersebut, rumah dihuni oleh satu kepala keluarga dengan total lima jiwa. Seorang penghuni bernama Umi Kalsum dilaporkan mengalami luka bakar ringan dan telah mendapatkan penanganan medis.
Proses penanganan kebakaran turut melibatkan berbagai unsur, antara lain BPBD, Polri, TNI, PLN, serta para relawan.
Hingga api berhasil dipadamkan, situasi di lokasi kejadian terpantau aman dan terkendali. Penyebab kebakaran masih dalam proses pendalaman oleh pihak berwenang. (man)
