Ketua Komunitas Daihatsu Taruna Club (DTC) Chapter Borneo. Selain di kota Balikpapan, komunitas DTC juga tersebar di seluruh Indonesia dengan 5.000 member yang aktif.
Sampai sekarang, perkembangan Daihatsu Taruna di Kalimantan mencapai 140 kendaraan. Terbagi di Balikpapan sekitar 50 member, Samarinda sekisar 60. Dan sisanya dari Sangatta juga Tenggarong.
"Selain sebagai tempat kumpul-kumpul sesama pecinta Taruna, komunitas ini juga merupakan wadah menjalin komunikasi dan kekeluargaan. Kami berharap member kami terus bertambah," kata Hariadi saat ditemui di acara Daihatsu Kumpul Sahabat, pantai kilang, Minggu (3/11/2024).
Tergabung dalam komunitas tersebut, Hariadi mengaku bangga masih menggunakan mobil keluaran lama hingga saat ini.
Genap diusia ke-24, Daihatsu Taruna keluaran tahun 2000 miliknya terlihat tetap kokoh dan setia menemani dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Bahkan, mobil klasik itu beberapa kali diandalkan Hariadi berpetualang untuk melakoni hobinya dalam menyusuri perjalanan jauh.
"Sebagai pecinta long trip, saya pede menggunakan mobil kesayangan ini," ungkapnya.
Adapun perjalan yang telah ditempuhnya, ia mengaku sudah pernah menyambangi pulau Jatim dari Bali hingga ke Lombok dengan menggunakan Taruna miliknya.
"Bulan kemarin dari Bali dan Lombok selama 30 hari pulang pergi bersama istri," akunya.
Menurutnya, Daihatsu Taruna memiliki berbagai keunggulan seperti ketangguhan kendaraan maupun spare part yang mudah dicari dengan harga terjangkau. Sehingga, tidak sulit dalam perawatan.
"Taruna saya selama ini sangat simpel, secara sparepart banyak karena persamaan sparepart Daihatsu untuk Taruna, Feroza, Terios itu sama," tutupnya. (man)
