Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Balikpapan menetapkan pasangan calon (paslon) nomor urut 1 Rahmad Mas'ud dan Bagus Susetyo, sebagai Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali (Wawali) Kota Balikpapan terpilih pada periode 2025-2030, dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) tahun 2024.
Adapun penetapan itu diresmikan KPU Balikpapan dalam gelaran Rapat Pleno Terbuka Penetapan Pasangan Calon Terpilih Pemilihan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Balikpapan 2024 di Ballroom Hotel Novotel Balikpapan, pada Kamis (9/1/2025) malam.
Ketua KPU Balikpapan, Prakoso Yudho Lelono menerangkan, adapun penetapan itu berdasarkan Keputusan KPU Balikpapan Nomor 441 tahun 2024 tentang penetapan hasil pemilihan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Balikpapan tahun 2024 sebagaimana tercantum dalam Berita Acara Nomor 6/PL.02.7-BA/6471/2025.
"Berdasarkan hal tersebut, KPU Balikpapan menetapkan Pasangan Calon nomor urut 1 Rahmad Mas'ud dan Bagus Susetyo sebagai pasangan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota terpilih Kota Balikpapan periode tahun 2025 - 2030 dalam Pemilihan Tahun 2024, dengan perolehan suara sebanyak 59,27 persen atau dengan perolehan suara sebanyak 177.290 dari total suara sah," ujar Yudho sapaan karibnya.
Yudho menegaskan, bahwa pelaksanaan rapat pleno terbuka ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan surat dinas dari KPU-RI, bersamaan dengan terbitnya Buku Registrasi Perkara Konstitusi (BRPK) tertanggal 6 Januari 2025.
Oleh sebab itu, KPU Kota Balikpapan pun segera malaksanakan tahapan penetapan pasangan calon terpilih, paling lambat tiga hari setelah surat tersebut diterbitkan.
"Tahapannya paling lambat tiga hari dari surat dinas itu terbit, untuk diwajibkan menyelenggarakan rapat pleno terbuka penetapan calon terpilih pada Pilkada serentak 2024. Makanya hari ini kita sama-sama mengikuti rapat ini," ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Wakil Wali Kota Balikpapan terpilih Bagus Susetyo mengaku bersyukur telah ditetapkannya paslon nomor urut 1 sebagai pemenang dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) kota Balikpapan.
Ia pun mengaspresiasi pihak KPU Balikpapan yang mampu mensukseskan jalannya Pilkada serentak secara kondusif dan damai. Serta peran TNI-Polri yang bahu-membahu mengawal dan mengamankan mulai awal hingga akhir selama pelaksanaan pesta demokrasi ini.
"Sehingga tidak ada sesuatu yang membuat Kota Balikpapan menjadi terganggu, melainkan semuanya aman," ucap Bagus. (man)
