Poroskaltim.com, NUNUKAN - Dalam menjaga perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia, Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad terus menunjukkan komitmen kuat.
Ya kali ini, personel Pos Bukit Keramat berhasil menggagalkan penyelundupan 30 dus minuman keras (miras) ilegal dengan berisi 360 botol merek Black Jack's dan R&B Likeur, pada operasi sweeping kendaraan yang melintas di Desa Bambangan, Kecamatan Sebatik Barat, Kabupaten Nunukan, Kalimantan Utara, pada Selasa (22/10/24).
Adapun kronologinya, penggagalan ini terjadi ketika personel Pos Bukit Keramat menggelar sweeping rutin terhadap kendaraan yang melintasi wilayah perbatasan. Kemudian, salah satu kendaraan jenis Toyota Kijang yang dikemudikan oleh AR, menarik perhatian personel satgas.
Saat dilakukan pemeriksaan, personel satgas menemukan muatan mencurigakan berupa karung besar. Namun setelah diperiksa lebih lanjut, ternyata karung tersebut berisi 30 dus miras yang diduga hendak diselundupkan ke wilayah Indonesia.
Atas tindakan sigap tersebut, Komandan Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad, Letkol Arm Gde Adhy Surya Mahendra pun mengapresiasi kejelian dan kesiapsiagaan anggotanya dalam operasi itu.
"Ini adalah bukti nyata dari upaya kita dalam menjaga perbatasan dari aktivitas ilegal, termasuk penyelundupan minuman keras yang dapat merusak moral masyarakat," ungkapnya.
Saat ini, barang bukti miras tersebut telah diamankan di Pos Bukit Keramat SSK I dan akan dikirim ke Markas Komando Taktis Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad. Selanjutnya, miras ilegal ini akan diserahkan kepada Bea Cukai Kabupaten Nunukan untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut.
"Penggagalan ini menunjukkan betapa pentingnya operasi pengamanan di wilayah perbatasan yang kerap dijadikan jalur penyelundupan," tegas Letkol Arm Gde Adhy Surya.
