Poroskaltim.com, JAKARTA - Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto bersama Kapolri Jenderal Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo menerima penyerahan Kendaraan Khusus (Ransus) Maung MV3 buatan PT. Pindad yang dilakukan secara simbolis oleh Menteri Pertahanan (Menhan) RI Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, bertempat di Appron Lanud Husein Sastranegara, Bandung, Jawa Barat, Sabtu (1/03/2025).
Sebanyak 700 unit Ransus Maung tahap II diserahkan oleh Kementerian Pertahanan RI kepada TNI dan Polri dari total 4.157 unit Maung MV3 yang diterima dari PT. Pindad. Adapun rinciannya 50 unit untuk Mabes TNI, 400 unit untuk TNI AD, 100 unit untuk TNI AL, 100 unit untuk TNI AU dan 50 untuk Polri.
Maung MV3 merupakan kendaraan operasional produksi dalam negeri buatan PT. Pindad yang dirancang untuk mendukung operasi militer maupun non militer. Maung MV3 merupakan inisiasi dari Bapak Presiden Prabowo Subianto saat menjabat Menteri Pertahanan untuk membangun dan mendukung ekosistem industri otomotif nasional.
Menhan RI, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin menegaskan komitmen pemerintah dalam mendukung operasional TNI-Polri demi menjaga kedaulatan negara serta keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat.
"Pemerintah konsisten untuk memberikan dukungan operasional kepada para pengawal kedaulatan negara kesatuan Republik Indonesia, TNI dan Polri, dan ini akan digunakan secara terus-menerus di seluruh pelosok nasional, mulai dari Panglima, Kapolri, Kasad, Kasal, Kasau, hingga ke tingkat desa," ujarnya kepada awak media.
Menariknya, pengadaan kendaraan ini tak hanya memperkuat operasional TNI-Polri saja, tetapi juga menjadi kebanggaan nasional karena Ransus Maung adalah produk buatan anak bangsa serta penyerahan kendaraan taktis ini juga bertepatan dengan peringatan Serangan Umum 1 Maret. Kedua hal tersebut, menegaskan komitmen pemerintah dalam menjaga kedaulatan dan keamanan melalui modernisasi alutsista secara mandiri.
Acara penyerahan Ransus Maung ini turut dihadiri oleh Kasad Jenderal TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, Kasal Laksamana TNI Muhammad Ali, Kasau Marsekal TNI M. Tonny Harjono, Wamenhan Marsdya TNI (Purn) Donny Ermawan T, Kasum TNI Letjen TNI Richard Tampubolon, Irjen Kemhan Letjen TNI Rui F.G.P.
