Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Polda Kaltim ungkap penangkapan sabu sebanyak 5 Kilogram yang siap diedarkan ke Sulawesi Selatan (Sulsel).
Ya, hal tersebut disampaikan melalui konferensi pers di Ruang Rupatama Polda Kaltim, Kamis (14/11/2024), yang dipimpin oleh Wakapolda Kaltim, Brigjen Pol Dr. M. Sabilul Alif didampingi Dir Resnarkoba, Kombes Pol Arif Bastari dan Kabid Humas Polda Kaltim, Kombes Pol Yuliyanto
Kombes Pol Arif Bastari menjelaskan, adapun pengungkapan tersebut berawal dari keterangan masyarakat, bahwa sering terjadi pengiriman barang narkoba di daerah Palaran Kota Samarinda.
"Pada hari Rabu (6/11/2024) pukul 13.00 wita, kami menemukan orang yang diduga membawa narkoba. Alhasil, kami mengamankan satu orang pelaku (KB) yang membawa tas hitam dan di dalamnya terdapat 5 kg sabu di palaran Samarinda," ungkap Kombes Pol Arif Bastari dihadapan media.
Dia melanjutkan, ini merupakan pelaku jaringan antar provinsi. Dari pengakuan tersangka, ini pertama kalinya pelaku melakukan kegiatan tersebut dengan diberikan upah sebesar Rp 4 juta sekali kirim.
"Barang bukti sabu berasal dari negara tetangga, kemudian menyeberang melalui pintu masuk Kalimantan Utara dan dibawa ke Kaltim. Dan tentunya barang tersebut akan dikirim ke Sulawesi Selatan" terang Kombes Pol Arif Bastari.
Wakapolda Kaltim menambahkan, bahwa pengungkapan kasus narkoba ini merupakan salah satu upaya Polda Kaltim melaksanakan dan mengakselerasi program prioritas bapak Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto yaitu Asta Cita. Dan mengakselerasi program bapak Kapolri.
Polda Kaltim melaksanakan beberapa langkah strategis salah satunya yaitu menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dari narkoba, khususnya di wilayah yang terkenal rawan akan peredaran narkoba.
"Bersama dengan pemerintahan daerah dan BNN, kami bekerja sama untuk memberantas perederan narkoba di lokasi atau kampung yang selama ini terindikasi sebagai wilayah yang banyak beredar narkoba, ucap Brigjen Pol Sabilul Alif.
Polda Kaltim akan berkomitmen untuk terus melakukan upaya nyata demi masa depan generasi bangsa yang bersih dari narkoba di wilayah Kalimantan Timur.
"Sehingga ke depan wilayah hukum Polda Kaltim ini tidak menjadi perlintasan narkoba ke Sulawesi Selatan," tutup Wakapolda Kaltim Brigjen Pol Dr. M.Sabilul Alif. (rud)
