Poroskaltim.com, SAMARINDA - Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polresta Samarinda berhasil mengungkap kasus ganja di kawasan Jalan Slamet Riyadi, Kelurahan Karang Asam Ilir, Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang, Sabtu (18/1/ 2025).
Keberhasilan ini bermula dari laporan anggota Subdit II Ditresnarkoba Polda Kaltim terkait paket mencurigakan di salah satu kantor jasa pengiriman barang.
Informasi awal diterima dari petugas jasa pengiriman yang melaporkan keberadaan paket yang diduga berisi narkotika jenis ganja.
Kemudian, petugas Subdit II Ditresnarkoba bersama petugas ekspedisi tersebut menunggu sang penerima paket itu. Tak lama berselang, seorang pria berinisial ZD (24), warga asal Cirebon, datang untuk mengambil paket dengan menggunakan sepeda motor.
Barang bukti milik ZD yang berhasil diamankan.
Alhasil, saat dilakukan pemeriksaan sekisar pukul 10.30 wita, ditemukan barang bukti berupa sebungkus ganja dengan berat bruto 113 gram, dibalut lakban cokelat. Sebuah lembar aluminium foil, plastik pembungkus hitam dan pembungkus berlabel, dan sebuah telepon seluler.
ZD pun langsung diamankan bersama barang bukti ke Polresta Samarinda, untuk menjalani proses penyidikan lebih lanjut.
Kasus ini akan ditangani sesuai ketentuan hukum dengan tersangka dijerat Pasal 114 Ayat (1) Subs Pasal 111 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika.
"Pengungkapan ini merupakan langkah nyata kami dalam memerangi peredaran narkotika di Samarinda. Kami akan terus berupaya memberantas jaringan narkoba demi menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan sehat bagi masyarakat," ujar perwakilan Sat Resnarkoba Polresta Samarinda.
Pihak kepolisian juga mengimbau masyarakat agar aktif memberikan informasi jika mengetahui adanya indikasi penyalahgunaan narkotika di lingkungan mereka. Sinergi antara masyarakat dan kepolisian sangat diperlukan untuk memastikan Kalimantan Timur bebas dari ancaman narkoba. (sal)
