Poroskaltim.com, MUNICH - Pertandingan final UEFA Nations League (UNL) 2025 antara Portugal dan Spanyol yang berlangsung di Allianz Arena, Munich, Jerman, pada Senin (9/6/2025), berakhir dramatis. Setelah bermain imbang 2-2 di waktu normal, Portugal memastikan kemenangan lewat adu penalti dengan skor 5-3.
Momen penentu datang saat Alvaro Morata gagal menjalankan tugasnya sebagai algojo, sementara Ruben Neves sukses menyarangkan penalti terakhir untuk Selecao. Hasil ini mengantarkan Portugal meraih gelar juara UNL untuk kali kedua dalam sejarah turnamen tersebut.
Menurut laporan dari tirto.id, kemenangan ini sekaligus menggagalkan upaya Spanyol mempertahankan gelar yang mereka raih pada edisi 2022/2023, saat itu La Roja menang atas Belanda juga lewat adu penalti 5-4. Di sisi lain, Portugal kembali mencatatkan prestasi, setelah sebelumnya juga keluar sebagai kampiun edisi perdana dengan kemenangan tipis 1-0 atas Belanda.
