Poroskaltim.com, BONTANG - Enam pengunjung di tempat hiburan malam (thm) di kawasan Bontang Selatan terindikasi positif menggunakan narkoba.
Adapun kasus tersebut terungkap, saat Satgas Preventif Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan Narkoba Polres Bontang mengadakan razia gabungan di sejumlah thm di wilayah Kota Bontang, pada Sabtu (02/11/2024) malam.
Ya, dalam kegiatan yang melibatkan 35 personel gabungan yang terdiri dari Satpol PP, Bea Cukai serta Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Kota Bontang termasuk TNI-Polri, merupakan tindak lanjut atas program 100 hari Presiden RI dalam upaya pemberantasan narkoba.
Kasat Resnarkoba Polres Bontang, AKP Rihard Nixon menegaskan bahwa, warga yang terjaring sebagai pengguna akan diarahkan untuk rehabilitasi melalui BNN Kota Bontang, sebagai bentuk penanganan yang berfokus pada pemulihan ketimbang hukuman.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan komitmen aparat dalam mendukung program Presiden RI untuk memerangi peredaran narkoba secara tuntas. Razia ini tidak hanya akan dilakukan sesekali, namun secara berkala sebagai bentuk pencegahan berkelanjutan,” ujar AKP Rihard Nixon, Senin (4/11/2024).
Langkah ini diharapkan dapat mempersempit ruang gerak peredaran narkoba dan membangun kesadaran masyarakat akan bahaya narkotika, sejalan dengan misi pemerintah untuk menciptakan Indonesia bebas narkoba.
Sebelumnya, apel bersama di Mako Polres Bontang yang dipimpin oleh Kasat Resnarkoba Polres Bontang, AKP Rihard Nixon. Dalam arahannya, ia menekankan pentingnya sinergi antara instansi untuk menciptakan lingkungan bebas narkoba sesuai arahan Presiden RI.
Kemudian, tim bergerak menyasar ke sejumlah kafe dan tempat hiburan malam di kawasan Bontang Selatan. Dalam pelaksanaan razia, petugas memeriksa barang bawaan pengunjung dan melakukan tes urine.
Alhasil, dari hasil pemeriksaan, ditemukan enam pengunjung yang terindikasi positif menggunakan narkoba. (*/man)
