Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Satuan Brimob Polda Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) menggencarkan operasi pengawasan malam di sejumlah lokasi strategis. Upaya ini dilakukan guna menjamin keamanan dan kelancaran perjalanan warga yang hendak pulang kampung dalam momentum mudik Hari Raya Idul Fitri 2025.
Pengawasan difokuskan pada area-area vital yang menjadi rute utama mudik, seperti simpang rawan, stasiun, bandara, serta ruas jalan antarwilayah. Tidak hanya itu, personel juga melakukan pemantauan di perumahan yang kosong selama liburan guna menekan potensi tindak kejahatan.
Kepala Sat Brimob Polda Kaltim, Kombes Pol Andy Rifai menegaskan bahwa langkah ini merupakan bagian dari Operasi Ketupat Mahakam 2025, yang dirancang untuk melindungi warga selama periode mudik.
"Kami berkomitmen menciptakan kenyamanan bagi para pemudik. Untuk itu, kami memperketat pengawasan malam di lokasi-lokasi berisiko tinggi," jelas Kombes Pol Andy Rifai.
Selain patroli rutin, anggota Sat Brimob juga memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat agar tetap waspada selama di perjalanan dan memastikan rumah dalam keadaan aman sebelum ditinggalkan.
Tak hanya itu, tim juga memeriksa kesiapan pos-pos pengamanan yang tersebar di sepanjang jalur mudik. Posko tersebut disiapkan sebagai tempat pengaduan dan bantuan bagi warga yang membutuhkan.
