Poroskaltim.com, SEBATIK - Satuan Tugas Pengamanan Perbatasan RI-Malaysia, Yonarmed 11 Kostrad berhasil menggagalkan upaya penyelundupan 23 orang Calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia (CPMI) ilegal yang hendak menyeberang ke Tawau, Malaysia melalui Pelabuhan Somel, Kecamatan Sebatik, Kabupaten Nunukan, pada Jumat (21/02/25).
Keberhasilan ini bermula dari informasi yang diperoleh oleh Dantim Bais TNI, Kapten Inf Sinambela, dari jaringan intelijen terkait adanya rombongan CPMI ilegal yang akan berangkat menggunakan speedboat. Menindaklanjuti informasi tersebut, Kapten Inf Sinambela segera berkoordinasi dengan Pasiintel Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad, Lettu Arm Haikal Ibnu Adnin Ashar, untuk menggelar operasi pencegahan.
Tim Satgas Gabungan TNI, yang terdiri dari personel Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad, Satgas Bais TNI dan Pos Marinir Somel Satgas Ambalat 30, bergerak ke titik koordinat yang telah ditentukan. Mereka menempati beberapa lokasi strategis guna memantau pergerakan kendaraan yang dicurigai membawa CPMI ilegal.
Tak lama kemudian, tim mengidentifikasi dua unit mobil yang mencurigakan. Saat dihentikan dan dilakukan pemeriksaan, para penumpang tidak dapat menunjukkan dokumen perjalanan yang lengkap. Setelah memastikan bahwa mereka merupakan CPMI ilegal, tim Satgas Gabungan langsung mengamankan dan mengawal mereka ke Balai Pelayanan Perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (BP3MI) Kabupaten Nunukan untuk diproses lebih lanjut.
Komandan Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad, Letkol Arm Gde Adhy Surya Mahendra, mengapresiasi keberhasilan tim dalam menggagalkan penyelundupan CPMI ilegal ini.
"Kami akan terus meningkatkan pengawasan di perbatasan dan bekerja sama dengan berbagai pihak guna mencegah upaya penyelundupan manusia yang berpotensi merugikan warga negara Indonesia. Kami mengimbau masyarakat agar tidak tergiur oleh bujuk rayu para calo dan lebih memilih jalur resmi jika ingin bekerja di luar negeri," ujarnya.
Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan komitmen TNI dalam menjaga perbatasan negara dan mencegah perdagangan manusia serta aktivitas ilegal lainnya yang dapat merugikan warga Negara Indonesia. Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad terus memperketat pengawasan dan bekerja sama dengan berbagai pihak guna memastikan keamanan serta ketertiban di wilayah perbatasan. (*/man)
