Poroskaltim.com, MALINAU - Komitmen Satgas Pamtas RI-Malaysia Yonzipur 8/SMG dalam menjaga kedaulatan wilayah perbatasan kembali membuahkan hasil. Dalam pelaksanaan sweeping di wilayah Malinau, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara, personel Pos Kotis Satgas Pamtas berhasil menggagalkan upaya penyelundupan minuman keras ilegal sebanyak 360 botol merek Huster yang dibawa oleh seorang warga sipil, pada Selasa (15/04/25).
Kegiatan sweeping yang dipimpin oleh Lettu Czi Junardi, Pasi Intel Satgas Pamtas RI–Mly Yonzipur 8/SMG, dilaksanakan pada Selasa (15/04/25) dini hari, di jalan Malinau Desa Salap, Kecamatan Malinau Utara, Kabupaten Malinau. Sebanyak 12 personel terlibat dalam operasi ini.
Petugas menghentikan dan memeriksa kendaraan jenis Daihatsu Xenia berpelat nomor KU 8189 SA yang dikemudikan oleh Sdr. D (39), seorang petani asal Desa Tumatalas, Kecamatan Lumbis Ogong, Kabupaten Nunukan. Dari hasil pemeriksaan, ditemukan ratusan botol miras ilegal yang disembunyikan di bagian belakang kendaraan.
Dari hasil interogasi awal, diketahui bahwa miras tersebut dibeli dari daerah Mansalong, Kecamatan Lumbis, Kabupaten Nunukan, dan rencananya akan diedarkan di wilayah Malinau dengan target penjualan kepada Sdri. DS dan Sdri. BL.
Barang bukti saat ini diamankan di Pos Kotis Satgas Pamtas Yonzipur 8/SMG dan akan segera diserahkan kepada aparat yang berwenang untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut.
Dansatgas Pamtas RI–Mly Yonzipur 8/SMG, Letkol Czi Imam Subekti menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh prajurit yang telah melaksanakan tugas dengan penuh tanggung jawab.
“Tugas pengamanan perbatasan tidak hanya menjaga patok dan jalur lintas negara, namun juga mencegah masuknya barang-barang ilegal yang dapat merusak generasi bangsa. Kami akan terus meningkatkan intensitas pengawasan demi menjaga stabilitas keamanan di wilayah perbatasan,” tegas Dansatgas.
Kodam VI/Mulawarman akan terus mendukung pelaksanaan tugas pengamanan wilayah perbatasan melalui penguatan personel, pembinaan teritorial, serta kerja sama dengan aparat penegak hukum dan masyarakat setempat. (*/man)
