Poroskaltim.com, Nunukan - Dalam upaya menumbuhkan semangat cinta tanah air di kalangan generasi muda di wilayah perbatasan, Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad Pos Simantipal menggelar kegiatan Wawasan Kebangsaan di SDN 01 Lumbis, Desa Mansalong, Kecamatan Lumbis Induk, Kabupaten Nunukan, Kalimantan Utara, Selasa (17/06/25).
Kegiatan ini bertujuan membentuk karakter siswa yang disiplin, berjiwa nasionalis, serta memiliki kebanggaan sebagai bagian dari bangsa Indonesia. Terlebih, anak-anak yang tinggal di wilayah perbatasan kerap jauh dari sentuhan langsung kehidupan perkotaan dan akses pendidikan karakter.
Komandan Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad, Letkol Arm Gde Adhy Surya Mahendra, menegaskan bahwa kegiatan wawasan kebangsaan merupakan bagian dari pembinaan teritorial TNI yang strategis untuk membekali generasi muda dengan nilai-nilai kebangsaan.
"Kami ingin adik-adik di perbatasan tumbuh dengan karakter kuat, cinta tanah air, dan memahami pentingnya persatuan dalam kehidupan berbangsa. Ini adalah wujud pengabdian kami sebagai TNI, bukan hanya menjaga wilayah, tetapi juga membangun masa depan bangsa," ujar Dansatgas.
Kegiatan berlangsung penuh semangat dan antusiasme. Para siswa mengikuti beragam aktivitas edukatif di luar kelas, mulai dari pelatihan dasar baris-berbaris (PBB), pengenalan simbol-simbol negara, permainan bertema kebangsaan, hingga sesi motivasi untuk meraih cita-cita.
Sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap dunia pendidikan, Satgas juga membagikan perlengkapan sekolah berupa alat tulis kepada seluruh siswa. Kehadiran personel TNI di sekolah disambut hangat oleh para guru dan masyarakat setempat.
Kepala Sekolah SDN 01 Lumbis menyampaikan apresiasi atas kepedulian dan peran aktif Satgas Pamtas dalam memberikan pendidikan karakter kepada anak-anak di wilayah perbatasan.
Kegiatan ini menjadi bukti bahwa Satgas Pamtas Yonarmed 11 Kostrad tidak hanya menjaga kedaulatan negara, tetapi juga berperan dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, khususnya di daerah terpencil dan terluar. (Pendam VI/Mlw)
