Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN — Di tengah ketidakpastian ekonomi global, potensi pengembangan ekspor masih terbuka luas, termasuk melalui penetrasi pasar baru. Merespons hal tersebut, Bank Indonesia (BI) memperkuat peran pelaku UMKM Kalimantan Timur dalam rantai nilai ekspor dengan meluncurkan program Export Kaltimpreneurs 2025.
Program ini resmi dibuka pada 30 Juni 2025 di Balikpapan dan akan berlangsung hingga 2 Juli 2025. Diselenggarakan oleh Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Kalimantan Timur bersama BI Balikpapan, kegiatan ini merupakan wujud nyata komitmen BI dalam mendukung pengembangan ekonomi daerah berbasis ekspor, khususnya melalui peningkatan kapasitas UMKM agar mampu menembus pasar global.
Kepala Perwakilan BI Balikpapan, Robi Ariadi, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa Kalimantan Timur perlu mengembangkan alternatif lapangan usaha di luar sektor migas, tambang, dan perkebunan yang selama ini mendominasi. Tren global menuju ekonomi hijau dan berkelanjutan, menurutnya, menjadi peluang besar untuk memperkuat posisi UMKM dalam pasar ekspor, terutama ke negara-negara dengan daya beli tinggi seperti Eropa, Timur Tengah, Afrika, hingga Amerika Selatan.
"Export Kaltimpreneurs 2025" merupakan kelanjutan dari program serupa yang telah berjalan sejak 2021. Hingga 2024, program ini telah berhasil mengantarkan 78 UMKM menembus pasar ekspor dengan total nilai transaksi mencapai USD 2,8 juta, mencakup negara-negara di Asia, Eropa, dan Amerika," ujar Robi.
Tahun ini, kata Robi, program diperluas dengan melibatkan 25 UMKM terpilih dari seluruh kabupaten/kota di Kaltim. Mereka akan mengikuti pelatihan intensif selama tiga hari yang mencakup kelas ekspor pemula, pendampingan oleh konsultan, serta pembekalan terkait perencanaan ekspor, kesiapan produk, dokumen ekspor, hingga strategi menembus pasar global.
Selanjutnya, peserta juga akan menjalani sesi mentoring, monitoring, hingga business matching dengan calon pembeli internasional. Sebagai bentuk apresiasi, UMKM terbaik akan difasilitasi untuk tampil di ajang Trade Expo Indonesia 2025.
Bank Indonesia berharap Export Kaltimpreneurs 2025 dapat memperkuat kapasitas UMKM, membuka akses pasar yang lebih luas, dan meningkatkan kolaborasi lintas sektor demi menciptakan UMKM Kaltim yang tangguh dan kompetitif di pasar global.
"Program ini bukan sekadar pelatihan, tetapi langkah strategis untuk membangun ekonomi Kalimantan Timur yang lebih inklusif, berkelanjutan, dan berdaya saing tinggi," tegas Robi Ariadi. (*)
