Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Besok malam, Jumat (22/11/2024), debat publik ketiga dalam Pemilihan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Balikpapan akan digelar di Hotel Gran Senyiur, pada pukul 20.00 wita melalui stasiun tv lokal BTV.
Adapun dalam debat tersebut masih terbagi dalam enam sesi dengan total durasi dua jam setengah itu, dengan mengangkat tema tentang Ekonomi, Sosial dan Lingkungan Hidup.
KPU Balikpapan menggelar rakor untuk finalisasi debat pamungkas yang akan dilaksanakan besok malam.
Anggota Komisioner KPU Balikpapan, Suhardi mengatakan, mengacu pada kejadian debat kedua lalu, di mana ramai pendukung saling sorak sorai dalam ruangan berakibat mengganggu jalannya debat.
Oleh karena itu, jumlah pendukung di dalam ruangan akan dikurangi.
"Pendukungnya akan dikurangi menjadi 30 orang per-paslon saja," kata Adi sapaan karibnya, seusai melaksanakan Rapat Koordinasi (rakor) Debat pamungkas bersama pihak terkait serta tim sukses ketiga pasangan calon (paslon), Kamis (21/11/2024).
Terkait keamanan, KPU Balikpapan sepenuhnya mempercayakan kepada aparat TNI-POLRI yang memberikan pengawalan super ketat dan tegas, sehingga alhasil dua pelaksanaan debat kemarin dapat berjalan kondusif mesti ada sedikit gesekan di dalam.
"Alhamdulillah di luar Hotel pendukung kondusif, walau agak ramai di dalam. Sehingga pendukung di dalam kami kurangi dan kami lakukan pengetatan supaya lebih tertib," tegasnya.
Sebagai pihak yang memfasilitasi, ia berharap selama pelaksanaan debat, ketiga paslon dapat menyampaikan visi-misi, ide serta program-programnya sampai ke masyarakat.
Dengan begitu, calon pemilih pun tergerak dengan ikut berpartisipasi dalam menggunakan hak suaranya pada 27 November mendatang.
"Semoga masyarakat ramai datang mencoblos untuk memilih sesuai dengan informasi apa yang mereka dapatkan. Sehingga partisipasi Pilkada 2024 meningkat dari sebelum-sebelumnya," harap Adi.
Untuk diketahui, dalam debat ketiga besok, akan mempertemukan ketiga paslon dari nomor urut 1 Rahmad-Bagus, nomor urut 2 Rendi-Eddy dan nomor urut 3 Saba'ni-Syukri. (man)
