Poroskaltim.com, KUKAR - Tim gabungan TNI-Polri membongkar dan membakar arena sabung ayam di Jalan Soekarno-Hatta KM 27, Gang Siaga, RT 31 Kelurahan Karya Merdeka, Kecamatan Samboja Barat, Kutai Kartanegara (Kukar), pada Kamis malam (14/11/2024), yang diduga kuat dijadikan aktivitas perjudian.
Adapun pembongkaran dilakukan melalui razia setelah menerima laporan dari masyarakat.
Tim gabungan yang dipimpin oleh Kapolsek Samboja, Iptu Sarlendra Satria Yudha dan Dankikav 13/Mtc, Kapten Kav Hendry Fasal Bessy. Serta 15 personel Polsek Samboja dan 5 personel Kikav 13/Mtc, kemudia bergerak menuju lokasi yang diduga menjadi arena judi sabung ayam, pada pukul 21.00 wita.
Meski tidak menemukan aktivitas perjudian atau pelaku di lokasi, tim mendapati fasilitas berupa arena adu ayam (Ring Geber Aduan Ayam) yang diduga kuat digunakan untuk kegiatan berjudi.
Turut hadir pula Pasintel Yonkav 13/SL, Lettu Kav Julian Leonardo Sihombing. Kasubsektor Kuala Samboja, Iptu Bagus Sukotjo, serta Kasubsektor Handil Baru, Iptu Iwan Setiawan.
Sebagai tindak tegas, fasilitas itu pun dibongkar dan dimusnahkan dengan cara dibakar di tempat. Langkah ini diambil untuk memastikan lokasi tersebut tidak digunakan kembali untuk aktivitas ilegal serupa.
Kapolsek Samboja Iptu Sarlendra menjelaskan, bahwa razia ini merupakan respons cepat terhadap keluhan masyarakat.
"Kami terus berkomitmen untuk menjaga lingkungan bebas dari aktivitas ilegal yang meresahkan, termasuk perjudian. Dukungan dan laporan dari masyarakat sangat membantu kami dalam menciptakan situasi yang kondusif," ujar Iptu Sarlendra.
Dankikav 13/Mtc, Kapten Kav Hendry Fasal Bessy menambahkan, pentingnya kerja sama TNI-Polri dalam menjaga keamanan.
"Kami mendukung penuh upaya Polri untuk memberantas aktivitas yang merugikan masyarakat, sekaligus menjaga stabilitas wilayah," tegasnya.
Untuk diketahui, operasi ini selesai pada pukul 22.00 wita dalam situasi aman dan terkendali.
Kendati begitu, Polsek Samboja mengimbau masyarakat untuk terus melaporkan aktivitas mencurigakan atau praktik ilegal yang mengganggu ketertiban. Sinergi antara aparat keamanan dan warga diharapkan mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman bagi semua pihak. (rud)
