poroskaltim.com, Balikpapan – Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Jadi ke-128 Kota Balikpapan, DPRD Kota Balikpapan menggelar rapat paripurna pada Sabtu (8/2/2025). Acara yang berlangsung di Ballroom Hotel Grand Senyiur ini mengangkat tema "Balikpapan Harmoni dan Berkelanjutan", menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam mewujudkan pembangunan yang berkesinambungan.
Ketua DPRD Kota Balikpapan, Alwi Al Qadri, membuka jalannya rapat dengan menyampaikan apresiasi terhadap berbagai pencapaian yang telah diraih oleh Pemerintah Kota Balikpapan. Ia juga mengingatkan bahwa dalam perayaan HUT ke-68 Provinsi Kalimantan Timur yang lalu, Balikpapan telah menunjukkan berbagai kemajuan yang patut dibanggakan.
"Berbagai pencapaian ini menjadi motivasi bagi kita untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik. Tujuan akhirnya adalah menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih harmonis dan sejahtera," ujar Alwi di hadapan para peserta rapat.
Ia juga menekankan bahwa keberhasilan ini tidak lepas dari kerja sama semua pihak, termasuk masyarakat yang terus berperan aktif dalam mendukung program-program pembangunan.
Rapat paripurna ini turut dihadiri oleh Wali Kota Balikpapan beserta jajaran pemerintah daerah, anggota DPRD, Forkopimda, serta perwakilan berbagai elemen masyarakat. Kehadiran mereka menunjukkan komitmen bersama dalam membangun Balikpapan menjadi kota yang lebih modern, nyaman, dan berkelanjutan.
Alwi menutup sambutannya dengan menegaskan bahwa sinergi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat sangat penting agar program-program unggulan dapat berjalan optimal serta membawa manfaat bagi semua lapisan masyarakat. "Tanpa kerja sama yang solid, mustahil kita bisa mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Mari kita terus bergandengan tangan demi Balikpapan yang lebih baik," pungkasnya. (rud)
