Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Beragenda usulan Pengesahan Pemberhentian Wali Kota Balikpapan masa jabatan 2021-2025, dan usulan Pengesahan Penetapan Pasangan Calon Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Balikpapan Terpilih hasil Pilkada serentak kemarin, DPRD Balikpapan bersama Pemerintah kota (Pemkot) menggelar Rapat Paripurna ke-1 masa sidang II tahun 2024/2025 di gedung parkir, Rabu (15/1/2025) siang.
Ketua DPRD Balikpapan, Alwi Al Qadri menyampaikan, bahwa usulan itu sudah berdasarkan Undang-undang nomor 10 tahun 2016 tentang Kepala Daerah, di mana setelah menerima hasil pleno KPU terkait hasil Pilkada, maka maksimal lima hari kerja pihaknya kemudian mengadakan Rapat Paripurna.
"Sehingga DPRD Kabupaten/Kota memparipurnakan usulan pengesahan pengangkatan Kepala Daerah dan usulan pengesahan pemberhentian Kepala Daerah," jelas Alwi seusai memimpin jalannya Paripurna.
Alwi menekankan, bahwa tahapan ini adalah merupakan salah satu syarat untuk terbitknya Surat Keputusan (SK) dari Kementerian mengenai pemberhentian dan pengangkatan Kepala Daerah.
"Nah, sebenarnya ini hanya salah satu syarat untuk terbitnya SK, jadi bukan pemberhentian. Supaya tidak rancuh bahwa ini bukan berarti diberhentikan, tetapi ini baru usulan ke kementerian," tegasnya.
Untuk penyelesaiannya, politisi Golkar itu tidak mengetahui persis kapan SK tersebut akan diterbitkan kementerian. Karena prosesnya masih melalui Pemerintah Provinsi Kaltim terlebih dahulu, lalu ke Pusat.
"Ngurusnya kan lewat kepanjangan tangan daripada Gubernur, dan Gubernur yang langsung menuju pusat, sehingga kami tidak mungkin langsung ke kementerian, jadi tergantung berapa lamanya. Tapi semoga saja semakin cepat," tuturnya.
Kendati begitu, Alwi tak lupa mengucapkan selamat kepada Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Balikpapan terpilih, H. Rahmad Mas'ud dan Bagus Susetyo yang akan mengemban amanah dalam masa jabatan 2025-2030.
"Semoga beliau-beliau bisa bekerjasama serta berkolaborasi bersama DPRD untuk membangun Balikpapan menjadi Kota yang sangat layak huni dan terkemuka," harapnya.
"Saya berharap program-program prioritas tetap kita lanjutkan, sehingga Balikpapan ke depannya menjadi lebih baik lagi," tutup Alwi. (man)
