Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Jelang Ramadan 1446 Hijriah, Anggota Komisi II DPRD Kota Balikpapan melakukan Inspeksi Dadakan (Sidak) ke pasar klandasan dan pasar Sepinggan, pada Senin (24/2/2025).
Dalam sidak itu dipimpin oleh koordinator Komisi II DPRD Balikpapan, Budiono. Hadir pula Sekretaris Komisi II, Taufik Qul Rahman berserta anggota lainnya.
Budiono mengatakan, dalam kegiatan itu pihaknya melakukan pengecekan ke dua kondisi bangunan pasar tradisional tersebut. Sekaligus mendengarkan langsung keluhan-keluhan para pedagang.
"Tadi ada yang mengeluhkan kebersihan fasum dan fasosnya seperti kamar mandi dan atap bangunan yang bocor. Sehingga harus kita tata," akunya.
Kendati demikian, pria yang juga menjabat sebagai Wakil DPRD Balikpapan ini mengatakan, bahwa kedua pasar itu akan direvitalisasi. Untuk pasar klandasan hanya membenahi area blok D saja, sedangkan revitalisasi pasar Sepinggan akan membangun pasar baru.
"Jadi ke depan pasar Sepinggan itu kami bangun yang pastinya ada estetika, kebersihan dan kenyamanan baik bagi penjual maupun pembeli," tuturnya.
Namun begitu, ia memperkirakan revitalisasi pasar sepinggan nantinya dilakukan dengan menelan anggaran hingga Rp 100 Miliar, dengan bangunan setinggi dua lantai.
"Sudah ada DEDnya, tinggal dianggarkan kemungkinan di tahun 2026," beber politisi PDIP itu.
Ke depannya, Balikpapan akan memiliki pasar distribusi, guna meminimalisir kekurangan stok pangan untuk kebutuhan masyarakat. Sehingga, tambah Budiono, ke depannya ada pergudangan dan jaminan pasokan dari petani Daerah-daerah asal.
"Kita harus bekerjasama, supaya harga-harga tetap terjaga dan tidak terkendala pendistribusian," harapnya.
Selain itu, Komisi II pun mengkhawatirkan keadaan stok sembako serta adanya kenaikan harga di pasaran kota Beriman menjelang Ramadan ini.
Namun sayang, setelah melalui hasil penelusuran di lapangan Komisi II pun menemukan adanya kenaikan harga sembako, seperti cabai dan telur.
"Kalau lombok masih masuk akal dengan kenaikan harga, karena di tengah situasi cuaca hujan saat ini," pungkasnya. (man)
