Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Operasi dadakan digelar oleh Seksi Provos Brimob Polda Kaltim dalam pemeriksaan kendaraan kepada seluruh anggota Satbrimob Polda Kaltim.
Ya, pemeriksaan tersebut meliputi kelengkapan dokumen kendaraan roda dua dan empat, mulai dari STNK, SIM dan penggunaan helm standar yang wajib digunakan oleh seluruh anggota.
“Operasi pemeriksaan ini bertujuan untuk mencegah hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan dari para anggota Brimob Polda Kaltim saat mengendarai kendaraan di jalan," ujar Dansat Brimob Polda Kaltim Kombes Pol Andy Rifai, usai gelar pemeriksaan di Mako Satbrimob. Senin (28/10/2024).
Kombes Pol Andy melanjutkan, bahwa selain sebagai pencegahan, operasi itu juga sebagai langkah satuan dalam melakukan pencegahan Intern satuan, serta sebagai langkah peningkatan disiplin anggota dalam berkendara.
“Hal ini akan selalu kita terapkan secara bertahap, bertingkat dan berlanjut, karena kami berkomitmen untuk menciptakan lingkungan lalu lintas yang aman dan tertib di wilayah kami,” tegasnya.
Pun begitu, ia menegaskan pemeriksaan serupa akan terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengawasan kepada seluruh Anggota Brimob Polda Kaltim, supaya memiliki Kesadaran dan taat pada peraturan berlalu lintas.
“Kegiatan pemeriksaan kelengkapan kendaraan merupakan salah satu langkah konkret satuan dalam mendukung program pemerintah, guna meningkatkan keselamatan berlalu lintas khususnya di wilayah Kaltim,” pungkasnya. (*/man)
