poroskaltim.com-Samarinda – Regia Grandisa K, yang dinobatkan sebagai Putri Pariwisata Kota Samarinda 2024, menyampaikan pandangannya terkait tantangan besar yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan pariwisata di kota ini. Menurut Regia, salah satu tantangan utama adalah rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga destinasi wisata dengan menerapkan prinsip sapta pesona – panduan wisata yang bertujuan menjaga keindahan dan keberlanjutan destinasi.
"Baik buruknya suatu wisata itu tergantung dari seberapa baik masyarakat mampu menjaga dan melestarikannya," ujar Regia. Ia menekankan pentingnya kesadaran kolektif dalam menjaga keindahan destinasi agar pariwisata di Samarinda dapat berkembang secara maksimal.
Sebagai bagian dari upayanya untuk mendorong perubahan, Regia terlibat aktif dalam Dewan Wisatawan Pemuda dan Pelajar (DWPP), yang menurutnya adalah wadah tepat bagi generasi muda untuk mengembangkan potensi dalam bidang pariwisata. Melalui program kerjanya yang dinamakan "GRANDISATA" (Gerakan Muda Mudi Peduli Wisata), Regia berharap dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam memajukan pariwisata di Samarinda.
"Program ini akan saya mulai pada tahun 2025. Harapannya, inisiatif ini bisa membantu perkembangan pariwisata dan memenuhi tiga peran penting sebagai Putri Pariwisata, yaitu sebagai promotor, edukator, dan inisiator," jelasnya.
Melalui GRANDISATA, Regia bercita-cita meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya melestarikan destinasi wisata serta mengajak generasi muda Samarinda untuk berperan aktif dalam mengembangkan potensi wisata daerah.
Dengan langkah-langkah strategis ini, diharapkan sektor pariwisata Samarinda dapat tumbuh dan memberikan manfaat besar bagi masyarakat setempat. (sal)
