Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Dalam momentum Ramadan 1446 Hijriah, Wakil Ketua DPRD Kota Balikpapan, Yono Suherman mengajak seluruh umat muslim khususnya di kota Beriman, untuk dapat berserah diri kepada sang khalik guna meningkatkan iman dan taqwa selama beribadah puasa.
"Sudah empat hari berjalannya ibadah bulan suci Ramadan, marilah kita yang menjalankan ini untuk dapat meningkatkan keimanan dan taqwa kita kepada Allah SWT," kata Yono Suherman saat ditemui dipembukaan acara Safari Ramadan di Aula Rumah Jabatan Wali Kota Balikpapan, Selasa (4/3/2025).
Kemudian, lanjut Yono, ia pun meminta supaya masyarakat Balikpapan yang khususnya kaum muslim, untuk dapat mengikuti kegiatan apa yang diprogramkan Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot), seperti gelaran Safari Ramadan dan sebagainya.
Menurutnya, Balikpapan adalah kota yang Beriman, dan sudah seharusnya warganya memiliki konsep linear dengan apa yang menjadi visi dan misinya Pemerintahnya.
"Tentunya juga kami berharap agar masyarakat Balikpapan mengikuti sebuah kegiatan Ramadan yang diprogramkan oleh Pemerintah. Apalagi Balikpapan adalah kota beriman, tentunya warganya harus linear dengan apa yang menjadi visi dan misi Kota Balikpapan," ucap politisi Nasdem itu.
Pun demikian, Dewan Dapil Balikpapan Selatan itu berharap, agar dalam momen bulan suci ini, masyarakat juga dapat lebih peduli tentang arti saling membantu, menolong dan menghargai antar sesama warga kota Balikpapan dari beragam agama.
"Sehingga dapat mempererat persaudaraan kita sesama warga kota Balikpapan. Serta meningkatkan keimanan dan ketakwaan kita sesama muslim kepada Allah SWT," harapnya.
Dengan adanya bulan Ramadan ini, tambah Yono, kaum muslimin juga dapat mencerminkan diri untuk lebih mengevaluasi dan mengintropeksi diri, untuk menjadi orang yang lebih bersih dan sebagai manusia lebih bermanfaat dan mulia di mata sang pencipta.
"Dengan begitu, supaya kita bisa menjadi orang yang lebih baik lagi ke depannya, dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas secara keimanan kita," tutupnya. (man)
