Poroskaltim.com, MALINAU - Satuan Tugas Pengamanan Perbatasan (Satgas Pamtas) RI–Malaysia Yonzipur 8/SMG kembali menerima penyerahan satu pucuk senjata api rakitan laras panjang jenis penabur dari warga perbatasan secara sukarela, pada Minggu (20/4/25).
Adapun penyerahan itu dilakukan oleh Bapak LB (62) di Desa Apauping, Kecamatan Bahau Hulu, Kabupaten Malinau, Kalimantan Utara.
Penyerahan tersebut berlangsung pada pukul 14.00 WITA di rumah Kepala Desa Apauping dan disaksikan langsung oleh Danpos Apauping SSK II Letda Czi Silman Adi Darma beserta tiga personel, Babinsa Koramil 0910-04/Pujungan Koptu Yoel Manan, Kepala Desa Apauping Bapak Yakub Jalung, serta Ketua Adat Desa Apauping Bapak Daud Lawing.
Bapak LB menyatakan bahwa senjata rakitan tersebut sudah tidak digunakan dan disadari memiliki potensi membahayakan keluarga serta masyarakat sekitar.
"Saya bersedia memberikan informasi kepada aparat jika ada warga lain yang memiliki senjata api rakitan dan ingin menyerahkannya secara sukarela," akunya.
Penyerahan senjata ini merupakan hasil dari kegiatan pembinaan teritorial (Binter) melalui metode komunikasi sosial yang rutin dilaksanakan oleh Satgas Pamtas Yonzipur 8/SMG. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menyosialisasikan bahaya dan larangan kepemilikan senjata api ilegal kepada masyarakat perbatasan.
Usai penyerahan, senjata rakitan tersebut diamankan di Pos Apauping untuk selanjutnya diserahkan ke Mako Satgas secara berjenjang. Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan berjalan dengan aman, tertib, dan lancar.
Dansatgas Pamtas RI–Malaysia Yonzipur 8/SMG, Letkol Czi Imam Subekti menegaskan komitmen untuk terus meningkatkan komunikasi sosial dan koordinasi dengan aparat se-tempat.
