Poroskaltim.com, PPU - Polda Kalimantan Timur melakukan pemeriksaan handphone terhadap seluruh personel Polres Penajam Paser Utara (PPU), pada Selasa (05/11/2024).
Ya, hal tersebut dilakukan dalam rangka menjaga integritas dan profesionalisme, Bidang Profesi dan Pengamanan (Bidpropam).
Adapun pemeriksaan ini bertujuan memastikan tidak adanya penyalahgunaan media komunikasi, termasuk penyebaran informasi yang melanggar etika atau aturan Polri.
Kapolres Penajam Paser Utara, AKBP Supriyanto menyampaikan dukungannya atas kegiatan ini sebagai langkah pengawasan internal.
“Kami ingin memastikan bahwa setiap personel menggunakan handphone dengan bijak dan sesuai kode etik Polri. Hal ini penting untuk menjaga kedisiplinan dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap Polri, baik saat bertugas maupun di luar tugas,” tegas Kapolres.
Dalam pemeriksaan yang menyasar seluruh anggota, baik perwira maupun bintara, Bidpropam Polda Kaltim mengecek berbagai aspek penggunaan perangkat komunikasi, seperti konten pesan, aplikasi yang terinstal, dan aktivitas media sosial. Upaya ini memastikan bahwa tidak ada pelanggaran yang berpotensi merusak citra Polri.
Kabid Propam Polda Kaltim, Kombes Pol Prianto Teguh Nugroho yang memimpin pemeriksaan ini menekankan, pentingnya pengawasan untuk mencegah penyalahgunaan informasi.
"Pengawasan yang ketat terhadap penggunaan perangkat komunikasi adalah langkah penting agar personel memanfaatkan media dengan benar dan bertanggung jawab. Ini juga untuk memastikan tidak ada informasi yang disalahgunakan yang bisa merugikan institusi," jelasnya.
Dari hasil pemeriksaan, seluruh personel Polres PPU dinyatakan mematuhi ketentuan penggunaan perangkat komunikasi, tanpa ditemukan pelanggaran yang melibatkan penyalahgunaan handphone.
Melalui pemeriksaan ini, diharapkan personel Polres Penajam Paser Utara terus bijak dalam menggunakan media komunikasi, menjaga etika dan profesionalisme, serta berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan publik terhadap Polri. (*/man)
