Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Anggota DPR RI Dapil Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim), Syafruddin memastikan bahwa aspirasi para Kepala Sekolah (Kepsek) se-Balikpapan yang meminta penambahan pembangunan sekolah akan diperjuangkan.
"Tentu kami dukung dan support aspirasi bapak/ibu Kepala Sekolah SMA/SMK se-Balikpapan itu," ucap Syafruddin saat mengunjungi SMA Negeri 5 Balikpapan bersama Wakil Ketua DPR RI, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, Sabtu (2/11/2024).
Menurutnya, Balikpapan memang minim akan keberadaan bangunan SMA/SMK. Malah sebutnya, problem itu sudah terlalu lama dan menjadi masalah klasik.
Oleh karena itu, ia yang juga memiliki posisi di badan anggaran (banggar) DPR RI akan membantu, mengawal dan memperjuangkan dana alokasi untuk membangun Sekolah Menengah tersebut.
Bagi bang udin sapaan karibnya mengatakan, bahwa idealnya ada empat bangunan sekolah lagi yang didirikan di Balikpapan. Dua bangunan untuk SMA dan dua lagi untuk SMK.
Di mana, kata dia, ada bangunan SMA/SMK di Balikpapan Tengah. Dan SMK terbangun di Balikpapan Barat.
"Saya juga prihatin, kenapa Pemerintah Provinsi kurang greget dengan masalah ini dan tak punya semangat untuk menambah sekolah di Balikpapan," cetus politisi PKB itu.
"Dan saya juga tak tau. Dinas Pendidikan itu kok pura-pura tidak tau atau bagaimana," sesalnya.
Selain itu, bang udin juga menyayangkan bahwa Kepala Sekolah di Kaltim utamanya Balikpapan tidak mendapatkan tunjangan kinerja (tukin) sama sekali. Oleh sebab itu, kata dia, mesti diperjuangkan.
"Masa kepala sekolah daerah lain ada, sedangkan tukin di kaltim khususnya Balikpapan tidak ada. Kan aneh," tutupnya. (man)
