Poroskaltim.com, BALIKPAPAN - Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Balikpapan menggelar Rapat Paripurna masa sidang II tahun 2024/2025 beragenda pidato sambutan Wali Kota Balikpapan masa jabatan 2025-2030 di BSCC Dome, pada Rabu (5/3/2025).
Ya, dalam Paripurna yang dipimpin oleh Ketua DPRD kota Balikpapan, Alwi Al Qadri, digelar menjelang buka puasa Ramadan 1446 Hijriah. Turut hadir seluruh ketua RT se-kota Beriman, para jajaran Forkopimda serta seluruh OPD di lingkungan Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Balikpapan.
Terpantau, ribuan tamu undangan begitu antusias hadir memenuhi veneu guna mendengarkan langsung sambutan pidato pertama Wali Kota Balikpapan, Rahmad Mas'ud setelah dilantik oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia (RI), Prabowo Subianto di istana negara, DKI Jakarta, pada 20 Februari lalu.
Ketua DPRD Kota Balikpapan, Alwi Al Qadri pun mendorong atas kepemimpinan Wali Kota sekarang ini. Di mana Wali Kota Balikpapan, Rahmad Mas'ud kini telah memiliki pasangan yakni Wakil Wali Kota Balikpapan, Bagus Susetyo.
Dan tentunya diharapkan dapat bekerja lebih optimal dalam mewujudkan segala visi dan misinya selama lima tahun ke depan.
"Kalau kemarin diperiode sebelumnya memang berat, karena wali kota bekerja sendiri tidak ada pendamping wakil wali kotanya. Dan sekarang ini tentunya visi dan misinya dalam periode ini harus diwujudkan, apalagi beliau tidak sendiri lagi dan sudah ada wakilnya," ujar Alwi setelah Paripurna.
Alwi menegaskan bahwa pihaknya tentu akan mengawal setiap pekerjaan dari visi-misi tersebut, dan siap mensupport setiap langkah-langkah Pemerintah yang berupaya untuk membangun kota Balikpapan.
"Kami di lembaga DPRD juga akan mengawal semua visi-misi Wali Kota, dan insyaallah kami akan mensupport segala visi-misi itu," tuturnya.
Kendati begitu, menurutnya masyarakat kota Balikpapan mengharapkan gerakan luar biasa yang dapat menjamin setiap langkah dan kebijakan yang diambil Pemerintah Kota Balikpapan.
Namun segala langkah dan kebijakan itu telah melalui pertimbangan kemakmuran untuk setiap golongan masyarakat.
"Dengan semangat kolaborasi dan sinergi antara Pemerintah Kota dan DPRD Kota Balikpapan, diyakini dapat membangun Kota Balikpapan yang berkesinambungan dan berkelanjutan," tegas Alwi.
Tak lupa, politisi Golkar itu turut mengucapkan selamat kepada Wali Kota Balikpapan, Rahmad Mas'ud berserta Wakil Wali Kota Balikpapan, Bagus Susetyo yang telah dipilih dan dipercaya oleh masyarakat Balikpapan untuk memimpin selama lima tahun ke depan.
"Semoga kita dapat mewujudkan kota Balikpapan sebagai kota global yang nyaman untuk semua dalam bingkai madinatul iman, sesuai visi-misi yang Wali Kota sampaikan dalam pidato pertamanya," tutupnya. (man)
