Poroskaltim.com, TARAKAN – Kodam VI/Mulawarman menegaskan bahwa kejadian yang melibatkan beberapa anggota Bantuan Penugasan (BP) Satgas Yonif 614/RJP di Tarakan pada Senin malam, 24 Februari 2025 sekitar pukul 23.30 WITA, merupakan kesalahpahaman semata. Saat ini, situasi di Kota Tarakan tetap aman dan kondusif.
Kodam VI/Mulawarman bersama Korem 092/Mrl dan Brigif 24/BC telah mengambil langkah cepat dan terukur untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini secara profesional. Seluruh pihak, termasuk jajaran Polres Tarakan, telah berkoordinasi dan melaksanakan mediasi guna menghindari eskalasi lebih lanjut.
Sejak kejadian, Danyonif 613/Rja sebagai satuan induk telah menggelar apel luar biasa dan melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap personel yang diduga terlibat. Selain itu, Dansat Brimob Polda Kaltara, Danrem 092/Mrl, Danbrig 24/BC, serta Dandim 0907/ Tarakan telah melaksanakan koordinasi intensif guna menjaga soliditas TNI-Polri di wilayah Kalimantan Utara.
Kapendam VI/Mlw, dalam keterangannya menyampaikan bahwa kejadian ini bukan merupakan peristiwa yang disengaja ataupun bersifat institusional.
“Ini murni kesalahpahaman antar individu, bukan masalah antar institusi. TNI dan Polri tetap solid dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di wilayah Kalimantan Utara, termasuk Kota Tarakan,” tegasnya.
Pangdam VI/Mlw terus memantau perkembangan situasi dan berkoordinasi dengan seluruh pihak terkait guna memastikan penyelesaian yang baik dan menjaga suasana tetap kondusif. Langkah-langkah yang diambil juga bertujuan agar informasi yang berkembang tetap sesuai dengan fakta di lapangan.
Saat ini, seluruh personel yang terlibat dalam Bantuan Penugasan (BP) telah dikonsolidasikan dan menjalani pemeriksaan sesuai prosedur. Langkah ini diambil sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab komando serta komitmen dalam menjaga disiplin prajurit.
Kapendam VI/Mulawarman menegaskan bahwa kejadian ini tidak mempengaruhi sinergitas antara TNI dan Polri dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat di Kalimantan Utara. Kapendam juga mengimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat agar tetap menjaga suasana yang kondusif. (*/man)
